Corporate Happenings- Weekly Digest
Below is a summary of where we stand as of today.
We are finishing our first wave of testing.
Over the last few months we have been defining, refining and tweaking our review platform. We have a few users on the system writing reviews, evaluating the design, testing overall functionality and creating bugs. We believe in pushing the system to its limits to create errors. The more kinks we can work out now, the better the result for all of you.
We are actively listening to our usability feedback.
We believe in actively listening to our users and designing for the community. Based on preliminary comments, we are adding new functionality, revising existing functionality and reconsidering design choices such as font and layout. Given that we are a small and nimble team, we have the competitive advantage to make changes happen quickly. We are committed to actively listening now and in the future.
We are on schedule!
We are excited to say that we are actively working toward opening the doors to beta users in April. Now, we know the service won't be PERFECT, but the only way to make it perfect is to let you in, give you a chance to provide feedback and for us to actively make changes.
What can you expect from the Viewpoints pre-release beta?
We have high hopes for the Viewpoints review platform. And, we have lots of great features planned for 2007. But, they all wont be there at beta launch. As a team, we believe in iterative development. Meaning, we hope to really nail a few features in the first release and then begin development on the next wave of changes. So, be prepared for the basics in the beginning and to hopefully be blown away by the additions throughout the year.
